About

I'm a full stack developer based in Belgium, currently building software at Stienen BE for the agricultural sector. Before that I worked on a Track & Trace platform in Elixir/Phoenix at BetaNine, and shipped .NET and React work at BMI Leisure. I studied at PXL, where I earned an Associate's in Programming and a Bachelor's in Computer Science (Application Development).

I learn languages by rebuilding the things I use — a Redis server in Rust, an HTTP server in Go, a Slack clone in Elixir. I daily-drive Linux with Neovim and Nix, and I'm comfortable taking a service all the way to production — containers, Kubernetes, and the CI/CD pipeline that gets it there. Mostly I care about code and infrastructure that stay simple enough to still make sense six months later.

Prayer Bar

Prayer Bar

With my full time switch to Arch Linux I needed a simple and easy way of seeing the prayer times. At this time I also had interests in the Rust programming language. So I made a waybar widget that shows the local prayer times using Rust.
